What we collect

• Account details: username, email address, password (stored hashed), and any optional profile information you add.
• Content: posts, threads, private messages, poll votes, ratings and uploads.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type and activity times, used for security, spam prevention and moderation.

Why we use it

• To run your account and the forum features you use.
• To keep the Site secure and prevent spam and abuse.
• To send account emails (registration, password resets, subscriptions you choose).

We do not sell your personal data.

Services we use

• StopForumSpam — when you register, your IP address and email are checked against this public spam database.
• Google Fonts and cdnjs (Cloudflare) — fonts and icons load from these providers, which receive your IP address like any website you visit.
• Our hosting provider stores the Site's data and server logs.

Cookies

We only use cookies needed for the Site to work:

• Login and session cookies (mybbuser, sid) — keep you logged in.
• Preference cookies (mybb[...], collapsed, mybbtheme) — remember read threads, collapsed categories and your theme.
• hg_age_ok — remembers that you confirmed you are 18 or older (1 year).

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Retention

Account data is kept while your account exists. Posts may remain after account closure as part of discussions, unless you ask us to remove them where the law requires it.

Your rights

You can view and edit most of your data in your User CP. To request a copy of your data, correction, or deletion of your account, use our contact form. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR) you may have further rights, including complaining to a data protection authority.

Age

The Site is not for anyone under 18. If we learn that a minor has registered, we delete the account.
