Filing a takedown notice

Send your notice through our contact form (subject: DMCA). It must include:

1. Your physical or electronic signature.
2. Identification of the copyrighted work you believe is infringed.
3. The exact URL(s) on HotGames4u of the material you want removed.
4. Your contact details (name, address, phone number and email).
5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner.

We remove or disable access to the material and notify the user who posted it.

Counter-notices

If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, you can send a counter-notice through the same contact form, with your signature, the removed material and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that it was removed by mistake, and your contact details and consent to the relevant jurisdiction.

Repeat infringers

Accounts that repeatedly post infringing material are banned.
